Mari Joramo's new EP release Project Killing Loneliness is born from a collaboration with musicians, dancers, and a psychologist. She has already gained attention through in-depth interviews as Thursday Artist of the Week on NRK P1, along with radio rotation on NRK P1 and Ordentlig Radio for her single SBF Second Best Friend. The EP blends haunting melodies and raw and honest lyricism based on conversations in therapy format to reveal the many shades of loneliness. Wrapped in an indie pop landscape, each track are reflecting on the internal dialogues many of us are afraid to voice. Like the ache of longing for a deep connection, the loneliness in a friendship, the last journey of a long lived life and the fragile hope of being seen. Proving the importance of human connections and the feeling of belonging, so that even in our loneliest moments, we remember that we are never truly alone.

Mari Joramo started her musical career with her debutalbum Dark Corners in 2015. In 2017 she released the EP Clouded Glory, which was well received by the critics. The Ep contains the songs Clouded Glory, Crash Landing, Faking and Skeleton Leaves and combines synth based pop with indie elements. Especially Crash Landing caught attention and was played on P3, Norwegian national radio.

She has become known for her unique expression within dream pop and has distinguished herself with her distinctive voice and honest lyrics that explore themes such as identity, dreams and society's expectations.
